Recruiter should have admitted that there was no actual job and that they were just looking to increase contacts in their database. Unfortunately they have little regard for unemployed people in this very difficult economy. They know that the market is stacked in their favor, but that is just unprofessional and there is nothing candidates can do other than take it. I don't expect o keep in touch with this recruiter even after I am employed.
