Applied for a listing in one city and was told to come to a specified location in another city nearly 1.5hrs away for an interview with the company’s director of sales. The interview was a surprise group interview with about 5 other people and was conducted in front of a whiteboard. The “interview” was just a break down on their two available roles. Setters and closers. The director of sales was extremely unprofessional and gossiped throughout the presentation. The “interview” itself was approximately 30 minutes long and ended with him leaving his phone number on the whiteboard for us to give him a call when we are ready to start. The process was a total waste of time and gas. The information presented could have easily been a phone or zoom call.

Group based explanations. One on one interviews. Explains the roles and asks why would you be a good fit. Very quick and simple. The interviewers talks a lot about the process of being a solar consultant and its roles and responsibilities.
