A recruiter called me directly without scheduling a phone screen. This caught me off guard, so I did not answer since I did not know who the caller was. After leaving a voicemail, I emailed her a few days and times I was available for a phone interview. She cancelled this call due to being sick, so we rescheduled. Once we finally had the interview, she had me review my entire background and experience, which took about 10 mins. Her follow up question was, "Do you have experience with Braze"? I did not. Her reply was "Well, I am going to have to stop you right there. The Hiring Manager is looking for people with Braze experience." I couldn't believe it! You couldn't make that a question on the application or ask me that first thing on the call? I wasted 1.5 hours of my life preparing for the interview and taking the phone call with the recruiter who obviously had a lack of respect for my time. Don't waste your time with these folks!
