      Entrevista

      I was invited to a 30 minute phone conversation with an internal recruiter. She was 10 minutes late to the call, and offered no apology for starting the call behind schedule, she dismissively said "hope this time still works for you." I was rapidly fired several questions regarding my sales experience and past performance. I get some people merely want to check boxes off as they're interviewing, however it came off extremely rude, and she did little to understand my current situation or why I was interviewing in the first place. When I was done with my interrogation, I was asked if I had any additional questions. Again, the tone was rude and dismissive, as if the recruiter was simply hoping I would say "not at this time." My advice to Toast, do better at connecting with candidates. Yes, past sales experience is important, but if that's all you care about, and you don't bother to get to know a candidate, you're leaving a lot on the table. Overall I left the call not feeling like this would be a great place to work, and I'm happy to learn that in a 30 minute time span.
