1st round : screen call with a hr for 15 minutes which was very pleasant, then they came back to me to plan the 2nd interview. 2nd interview via zoom with a HR based in China, went very well, and then she planned 2 interviews in a row with the managers based in China. I'm preparing then for the 3rd round with the Chinese manager, first of all, I had to plan very early in the morning because of the time difference, but whatever I really wanted the job so I didn't mind. We start the interview, the guy seemed rather cold, and his English was not that good so not easy to understand tbh. He asked very random questions and told me I was really prepared ???? so I was very surprised when I understood that they cancelled the last interview without even telling me. I had to email 2 of the HR, and got an answer like 3 hours after they actual call??? Like wtf. To be honest, the team based in England was very nice and they followed up with me through the whole process but the end of it was just a mess.

Awful and humilating experience. First screen interview was OK and next i got interview with manager from Dubai. Since the interview was in ByteDance i couldn't see her name. She did not intrduce herself, interview started with "i won't turn on my camera, you can begin". I've tried to know her name and she said "why do you need it". Cringe. Overall, it was a monologue from my side and her passive questions, in the end she said "you can ask me one question". I've asked how many agencies they have now, she said "a few. bye." and just disconnected. I was in absolute shock, by far the most ugly interview i ever had in my 8+ experience working in blue chips
