The overall process is disjointed and unorganized at best. Started with a recruiter screen, followed by an interview with an HM, then a panel interview (mock pitch style) followed by a decision.
The mock pitch was a terrible experience. 48hrs before the pitch, I was given a prompt that essentially said to choose from a list of companies to pitch to. The pitch was opened ended, but didn’t have data that I could use to tailor a deck - of which I was asked to stick to a template they sent over, so I chose to pitch an intro/discovery call. I was asked a lot of technical questions about their app (which I did well, per interview feedback). Ultimately they decided to go with other candidates but didn’t articulate why.
While I personally don’t think their rejection is an indication of the quality my candidacy, I don’t think their interview process is well thought out. The industry heads seemed surprised to be on the panel, they asked if I was interviewing for a particular industry (I had no idea - my recruiter didn’t set expectations and I’d spoken to a broad array of people), and ultimately I was told ‘I did great but none of the industry leads expressed interest’.
So, wasn’t worth my time as it was clear the relevant decision makers weren’t overly interested in making a hiring decision.

I had an initial screening, meeting with hiring manager and then had to do a case study presentation in front of panel interviewers follow by a Q&A session where they grilled me with questions

HR screener interview. The interviewer was friendly and posed the standard screening interview questions such as, tell me about yourself, run me through your resume, why TikTok. They also spent a good amount of time describing the scope of the role and structure of the team at a local and regional level. Overall positive experience.
