I'm a Rails developer who doesn't spend a lot of time working in a pure Ruby environment. For that reason I didn't perform as well as I needed during the tech evaluation using CodePen, the online code editor. I was thoroughly impressed with the company; they have a focused business model with momentum, they are patiently growing the team as they find the right candidates. Very cool company and cool guys are doing cool and funny things. This is the best interview experience in all of the job huntings in my all career so far. I got phone screen from Brent, VP of Engineering. A very nice, energetic, straightforward gentleman. We discussed company and role which are pretty impressive. Then he asked me several d questions. I got chance to ask him questions about anything I want to know after that. It didn't like most of the other company's phone screen which you have no idea about how did you do and wait for the result for days or maybe forever. What surprised me is that he tell me his decision directly at last and also help me review the whole process of the interview and give me some suggestions about interview and job hunting which are very helpful. I wish I could have a chance to work for him.
