I did a phone screen interview, followed by an in-person interview with two junior legal editors, then a take-home legal writing test. Those steps all went very well. Then, I was scheduled for another in-person interview (a few weeks later) with the head of the department. The first thing she said to me at the interview was that I had too much experience for the position and they were really only looking for candidates with 1-2 years of experience, but since I was there, she might as well talk to me. Needless to say, I did not receive an offer, despite my best efforts. Regardless, the people were all very friendly and it seemed to be a great place to work.

Easy, straightforward, simple. Good communication from them, easy to talk to, easy to understand. Found the job interview very simple and straightforward. Phone interview, test, then video interview, it was all very simple and fast.

The HR sucks. They honestly just ghosted me after a point. Very poor management & they were the ones that reached out in the first place. It was disappointing to say the least. For an average job with average salary prospects the least the company can do is be better at communicating to their candidates
