It is best to apply in person, ace the written test, and then if you pass there is a follow-up interview. The interview process requires you to elaborate on your best qualities and how you can be an asset to a family workplace. Talking about multitasking and patience are good starts. The workplace is very open and friendly, with staff that are willing to help you train and become acclimated so don't stress.

Asked me basic questions. How do I handle difficult customers, what’s my experience related to this role, etc. Right after I was told I got the position so I proceeded to negotiate the hourly pay. Straight up said they weren’t paying me no more than minimum wage. Even though, there’s a pay range they refuse to pay anyone actually over $17. I know it’s a nonprofit but come on. There’s a pay range!!

It was a very easy interview process, they actually cared about who you are and what you have to say. Found it very comfortable. Went over schedule availability, previous experience and their company’s motto.
