      Entrevista

      I experienced it as quite quick and useful. The full application took around 2 weeks and consisted of digital meetings, neurogames, personality test, a case assignment, 3 meetings in person and a final presentation. For me it went very fast and it took me a while to make the decision for myself after I got a final offer from them. Overall the experience was positive but with sightly too many steps. Not sure how they implemented the outcomes of the personality test.

      The process has quite a few steps! Info session, introduction call with recruiter, an assignment, conversation about the assignment result, final meetings face to face at the office with multiple people. During this process, it always felt like a two-sided conversation to see if we are both a match for each other. Each step was very clear described what was expected from me and from them. The info-session at the start was very useful, especially because these are given by innovators/designers who are currently in the program. Though there were multiple steps in the interview process, it only took a month from start to finish! The offer was as expected from the start of the process.

      I am hoping some will be warned and stay away from this company. They exist in a state of scale-up, innovation buzzword weirdness with processes and people that seem really toxic with a plastered fake smile and an NPC "entrepreneurship" energy about them. I was initially approached through linkedin and taking a first look at the reviews and the digital innovator program it seemed worth a shot. The process was excruciatingly slow with multiple steps for an entry level position. 8 Steps! HR call, "neuro-games" that were passively aggressively gauging humility vs confidence, multiple director, designer and HR interviews, a personality test that measured nothing and asked the same questions over and over and a presentation. From the HR call to the final CEO interview I was asked the same questions and NOT EVEN ONCE was I able to speak about or show any of my portfolio or work whatsoever. On a creative role! It took 1 and a half month and they hadn't a clue about my past work. There is 1 international person in the whole company and the entitlement is painfully evident. They will start the entire hiring process for expats and mention only later that the final interview is conducted only in the Amsterdam office for which they provide zero expenses. Seems like the remote hiring process eludes these "digital innovators". After the final interview/presentation and pushing through the painfully unclear goals/values/processes of the company I got a call with the HR person talking between her teeth about things that didn't vibe with them that would have been clear from step 2 / 8 and some other incoherent reasons. All in all it was just the waste of our time that was insensitive and outright rude. Just weird, probably dodged a bullet. P.S.: The cringe factor was at its peak when the CEO asked: "what would you talk to me about if we were out in a pub?" and also when he audaciously mentioned that: "this is a long process because we're going to be married professionally for two (whole!) years". CRRRINGE
