The head hunter who was recruiting for a position in Nevada asked basic questions about my past experience such as active headcount.
Be wary of these people. What really got me was she called me back only to obtain my salary history. When I told her the question was illegal in the state that she was recruiting for she was still adamant I give it to her. I gave her ranges and told her not to share the range with her client. I mentioned that I was in a short-term role and had taken a pay cut to get more employee relations experience. That was the final conversation before her ghosting me.
I'm not sure how it works with headhunters, but I am toying with the idea of turning this agency into the State of Nevada for illegal discriminatory recruiting practices.
