The application process consisted of answering multiple questions, resume submission, planning an even, and posting a video of you coaching a student. After submitting my application I received an email stating applications would be open for the next 2 weeks and I would be contacted if selected for a phone screening. I was then contacted 1 day later and asked to select a time for my phone screening. I scheduled it for the earliest possible option. I was originally was supposed to do the phone interview/screening with 2 people but one of them was unavailable. I ended up doing my phone screening with the Executive Dream Director who informed me that I would possibly have to still speak with the other interviewer who was from HR. I reached out to do so but received no response. I thought the interview went well. My final question was what challenges did he see me facing in the position? His response was he would be interested to see how I interacted with the students in the school, he also stated that if invited to the next round I would have the opportunity to showcase that. I was told that applications closed in the next 2 weeks and they will be conducting the second interviews on the 16th. As we got closer to the date I tried contacting both interviewers, receiving no response by email or by phone. I proceeded to email the final business day before the 16th and received and email stating “Thank you so much for taking the time to apply for the position of Dream Director 2018-2019. It's clear that you are philosophically aligned with the work we do here at The Future Project, but in regard to the Dream Director 2018-2019 position that is open, your current qualifications do not match those needed.” This was very frustrating not only because I didn’t receive an opportunity but because of the lack of communication. If I didn’t meet the qualifications I wish that was communicated after I submitted my application, during the phone screening, or within the 2 weeks after the phone screening in which I waited for a call back. While I would understand if I was told that they chose someone who more closely met what they were looking for. Based off the job description, explanations by the interviewer, and day in a life videos available online, I know for a fact that I would have excelled in this position. I don’t believe I was given a fair opportunity especially since all other interviewers were interview by two people. This a great company and the work they do is AMAZING! I would of loved to be apart of the team! I still plan on doing the work in other ways!

Waaaay more intense than I thought it would be. I think there were something like 10 interviews all together and there was also a "project" that took me five hours.
