The interviewer asked me a series of basic questions. Felt less like a conversation and more like a formal interview where the interviewer was ticking boxes off of their checklist. 2 questions the interviewer asked were clearly not related to my resume/experience at all. I sent a follow-up thanking the interviewer for their time and I also submitted a writing sample after the interview (in the same email) as requested. I never heard back from the company at all. I even followed up to ask about the status of the position over a week later (it was clear I didn't get the position but I just wanted to get some clarity) and no response at all. Really disappointing as this was a company I held in very high regard. Some advice: treat your prospective employees better.
