I responded to the ad on Indeed.com, completed the application process, attached my resume and received an email inviting me to a "group" interview and giving me a homework assignment, the interview was conducted by the Store Manager, General Manager, Area Manager and a nice lady from Texas who was helping out (she read her "lines" directly from a script in her hands), there were 10 of us in the interview, we watched videos and shared thoughts, our questions and input were very contolled meaning we could only ask questions about the topic they presented, we had to "present:" our homework to the group. From there I was invited to a personal interview, the lady called me and wanted me in the next day, I couldn't do that because I was working out of town, she interrupted me and cut me short when I tried to talk about my availability so I took the appointment she told me to take! That interview was conducted by the General Manager and the Area Director. The General Manager asked the questions and the Area Director wrote down my answers. After the second interview I was given another homework assignment to be emailed to the General Manager and I was told no one would be hired without an interview with the Regional Manager and they had no idea what her schedule even was. The "next step" was to wait for an invite to that interview but I was dismissed prior to the third and final interview. The group was professional, articulate and appropriately friendly, the entire process seem orchestrated and rehearsed.
