It was a 30-min phone interview, and I was contacted directly by an actuary. He was very friendly, and talked a lot about his past experience with me. He kind of expected me to know more about Obama care, which I am really not familiar with because I am an international student. I guess it left him a bad impression.

Entrevista
Went through six interviews with Cigna, the last four being back to back. The interviewers asked both challenging and thoughtful questions while making sure I was comfortable as well. I had a mix of behavioral, logical, and statistical questions asked.
Was very delightful. Had a 30 minute first round call with two actuarial analysts which turned into a 1 hour conversation instead. The interviewers were very friendly and was willing to give more time to answer questions. Got invited to the second round but received another offer earlier.

Excellent process. The interview was virtual. Excellent questions were asked that assessed my understanding of the health insurance industry and how well I could work on a team, in addition to some questions about leadership skills and how I made and prioritized tasks and decisions.
