I was recommended to the recruiter by a friend and Tesla employee. The recruiter conducted a brief over the phone interview. I then flew out to interview in person, in Reno, NV. This interview included a 30min presentation and 6x one on one discussions with other Tesla production leadership.

did an online panel interview with 6 people, including your potential direct manager. They asked general questions about the industry, like handling stressful situations, multitasking, etc., but they also threw in some technical questions and dug into my resume. For example, they'd ask me to elaborate on specific points, and if I gave an answer, they followed up to see if I actually knew my stuff. It’s important to have 5-6 solid examples ready, use the STAR method to structure answers, and know how to pivot to answer questions that you have no previous experience in. You got this!
