I applied on their website (though the jobs are quite difficult to search for there). I was contacted via email by a recruiter. This was difficult as I had to choose a 30 minute slot for a phone interview, and even after scheduling time off of my existing job 2 times, cancellations were made on the recruiter's end. I had almost thrown in the towel on Tesla. Then I was finally passed off to a second recruiter with a schedule open enough to allow me to phone interview without having to take time off my job. She was friendly and thorough and very informative. Given the hoops I had jumped through she was willing to schedule my 2nd interview out a bit. The 2nd interview was online via video. My interviewers wanted to know about my background, what made me a desirable candidate, what I found hard or unpleasant about phone work as well as examples of my ability to go above and beyond. Once I got beyond that first recruiter mess, my experience was friendly, professional, thorough and pleasant.
