      The team was very friendly, and the interviews felt relaxed and conversational, mostly focused on walking through my portfolio and background. However, the take-home assignment was confusingly vague. I received almost no direction on what they wanted, then was told my work was excellent, but not what they were looking for. They asked me to rework it with new guidance, and after doing that, decided not to move me forward. Everyone I met seemed warm and kind, but the process reflected unclear expectations and a lack of structure, felt like they want you to read their minds instead of providing clarity.

      I appreciated the opportunity to interview with this company, and I understand that not every process results in an offer. However, candidates should be aware that the interview process includes a detailed, several‑hour trial assignment tied to a real company. Candidates are told the assignment will be reviewed and, if they move forward, discussed in a final interview. I completed the assignment thoroughly and aligned it with the expectations provided. Despite the time investment, I received a generic rejection with no feedback or indication that the work was evaluated. While I can’t speak to how the assignment is used internally, the lack of acknowledgment or clarity raised concerns about the purpose of the exercise. For anyone considering applying, I recommend asking upfront how trial assignments are reviewed, whether feedback will be provided, and how the work is used. I also noticed the role was repeatedly reposted throughout this time, which raised questions about the consistency and transparency of the process. Overall, the experience felt disproportionate to the level of effort required from candidates.
