      Entrevista

I began interviewing with Temple in February for an HR role and initially had a very positive experience. Throughout the process, I met with multiple leaders, including directors and the VP of Labor Relations. Following those interviews, the Talent Acquisition Manager informed me that the team wanted to move forward and that she was awaiting compensation details before extending an offer. Over the next several weeks, I received multiple updates indicating that compensation approval was pending. Then, unexpectedly, I was contacted to schedule an interview with the CHRO. This came as a surprise, as I had been led to believe that the process was at the offer stage. When I sought clarification, I was told this was part of a newer process and that meeting the CHRO was required before an offer could be finalized. My interview with the CHRO was disappointing. The conversation felt rushed, and I did not feel that I was given a fair opportunity to discuss my experience. At the conclusion of the interview, I was told that I would hear back within a few days. That was several months ago. Despite following up with Talent Acquisition on multiple occasions, I never received a final decision, closure, or communication regarding the outcome of my candidacy. For a process that involved numerous interviews and several months of engagement, the lack of follow-through was extremely disappointing. The experience left me with the impression that the hiring process lacked consistency and communication. Regardless of whether a candidate is selected, professional courtesy and timely updates should be standard practice, particularly after such a significant investment of time from both parties.

      Preguntas de entrevista [1]

      Pregunta 1

One question I was asked by the CHRO was: “How do you define the employee experience, and what role does HR play in shaping it?” During our discussion, the CHRO emphasized that the employee experience begins with the candidate experience. What made my experience particularly disappointing was that, after multiple rounds of interviews spanning several months, being told the team intended to move forward, and being advised that compensation details were pending, I never received a final update or closure regarding my candidacy despite following up. Given the emphasis placed on candidate experience during the interview process, the lack of communication was both surprising and disappointing.
