The assignment felt substantial and closely aligned with the company’s real project needs discussed during the interview. After another early-morning call asking whether I had completed it, I explained that I had done the work but could not share written results because they directly matched those business needs. I offered to present my approach live instead, after which I received a rejection. Given the situation, I reported the matter to the relevant labor authority.
