I applied in June and I received an email to schedule a phone interview, the interview was basic, after a few weeks I received an email saying that they are not going to hire me.

Two step process. 1st Step) Phone call interview. This was pretty normal and basic interview. 2nd Step) This part was pretty weird. I guess its coming down from how they run things in Germany. To begin with you have to make a presentation in front of other candidates and management of the companies (no less then 5 minutes), later a group discussion of a topic with the same candidates (no less then 5 minutes). A minitour around the company. Nice place. Later you have to pretend a sales call and do the sales in less the 10 minutes.
