First, I submitted a few essays. Then, I was given an interview. Beforehand, multiple people in the organization reached out to me to prepare, making sure I had the necessary support for the interview. The interview was a classic teaching interview that tested classroom instruction through simulation, behavioral questions, and scenario response.

The interview was very different from most interviews but I was definitely well-prepared with the resources that TFA had offered in preparation. My interviewer was very nice and it often felt like a conversation between us about whatever question was asked which was nice.
