Entrevista
Initial chat with a recruiter. Initial screening set up with a member of the team. This was followed by 4 rounds spread over a week. First round was coding and I was told that it would be data structures and algorithms and it turned out to be quite a simple problem. Only issue was that I was asked to open up an IDE on my machine instead of them providing a link. The technical rounds and the one with the manager were ok. Nothing too crazy but it felt that the team was disinterested in the work. Surprisingly I noticed that the job description was deleted in between my interviews and I suspected that they had filled it up. I received a notification about my rejection on a Sunday morning at 2 AM (thanks Target). Got a call 2 days later confirming the same.
Round 0: Recruiter Call/Screening
Round 1: Technical - SQL, Python, Pyspark, ML, Project Deep dive, case study related to the team you are interviewing for with the same or one level up employee
Round 2 - Technical : same pattern with up-graded difficulty with a more senior employee
Round 3 - Hiring Manager round with the director, open ended scenario/situation based q/a again a case study (director level/ long term employee don’t want to hire anyone just want to keep this process going on)
Round 4: Bar raiser
Round 5: HR
Round
Multiple round of interview.
Interview context was different from what role I had applied for. Interview went for NLP discussion where as I was interviewing for Analyst role, but no hands on coding assessment
The interview is a 5-6 rounds process. It includes Data science DSA and stats questions.
All the interviewers were pretty chill people and were very knowledgeable. Overall the work culture looked good.
