The application consisted of multiple scenarios and slider questions (strongly agree, agree, disagree, strongly disagree.) About a day or so after submitting the application I received a link to a HireVue interview. It is a video interview where you watch someone read out interview questions, have a short period of time to prepare your answer, and then it starts recording. I had 2 minutes to prepare and 3 attempts per question. A couple days after submitting it received a call with some brief interview questions and then I was given an offer. According to the hiring manager you will be given a seasonal position if you are accepted regardless of qualifications and after 90 days you will be eligible for a FT/PT position if you are a good fit for the store.

Virtual Interview, questions revolve around leadership and responsibilities. Prior to the interview there is a behavioral online assessment. Orientation is in person and usually in a group. Will spend your first day shadowing and completing training videos.

The interview process at Target was very straightforward and conversational. I was asked to talk about myself and my prior retail experience, discuss my availability, and highlight my strongest qualities. The focus was on understanding my customer service skills, work ethic, and overall fit for the role.

All completed online with prerecorded videos that can be completed on your computer or phone with three tries per question. Once the interviews are completed, Target will inform you that you either received a job offer or you did not. If you accept, you begin training shortly.
