Applied to the position and heard back yesterday they wanted a phone interview -- it actually was a really fun interview. She loved the positive energy I gave (thanks to the folks on this message board), and liked my answers even more. Said I was one of the first she talked to, and that it'd take about 2 weeks to know if I would be brought in for the 3-interview process. I actually fully expect to receive an offer! These positions are required to work 50 hours a week, especially during the 6-week training period. It's a salaried, exempt, store management position with a TON of room to grow!
Interviewed 4 rounds, was transparent each time about being available to start asap, looking for immediate employment etc. At the end of the 4th interview, I was told there was no opening for the role I was applying for, but they were willing to hire someone for the bench, but "only if they were the right fit," but they also were not in any hurry. I asked why this wasn't disclosed earlier, and they did not have an answer. A week after my final interview, I received an automated rejection letter. I would have hoped after 4 rounds of interviews, that I could have received personalized feedback regarding the decision, but I was not given that courtesy.

Applied online. I received an email to choose an interview time based on the recruiter’s availability. Interview was a phone call. I was a little surprised it wasn’t a video interview. Recruiter was professional. I declined to go to next steps after I heard the schedule expectation.

There was a minimum of 5 interviews which is way too much. You should know by a maximum of 3 interviews if the candidate is correct or not. I’d recommend revamping the process to allow for a better candidate experience.
