Applied with a paper app in the store. Attached my resume and met with the Store Manager on the spot. This position had been open for several months.
After an hour talking about my background and details of the position, I was scheduled to meet with the district manager. After a meet & greet kind of conversation, she walked the store with me, asking for my comments on merch placement, mannequin displays, flow and home statements, and what I would do differently, We talked about salary. The job doesn’t pay enough for the amount of work expected and design skills needed. We had a few go arounds but eventually agreed on a salary that worked for both of us. The whole process took 2 weeks.
Great overall interview I was basically asked my visual merchandising experience and how can I be an asset to the store. The interview went very smooth. I would say apply at Target a lot of great opportunities

I received a call inviting me in for the first in person interview. It was an individual one on one; followed by another one on one, second in person interview.

I've only completed the first step which was a recorded interview. I believe I am supposed to have additional interviews after that. It's been a seamless and stress-free interview process so far.
