I received an e-mail on Friday and called the number in the e-mail to set up a time with no response. I left my number and asked him to call. On Monday I called again. On Wednesday I e-mailed the recruiter and told him I was still interested in speaking with him if the position was still open. He called me with no notice while I was driving home and did the phone interview. The questions consisted of "why are you interested in working at Target," "what is your biggest strength as a manager," and "what are your qualifications for this position." It was a blow-off interview because I contacted him too many times (even though he initiated contact). He didn't ask clarification or comment and at the end of the interview said very bluntly, "we will call you if we want to set up a one-on-one." Uh-huh. Thanks.
