The interview process at Tails consisted of three parts - first, I had a telephone interview with the hiring manager which lasted 30-45 minutes and mainly focused on my experience and the requirements of the job role in tandem.
The second stage of the interview was again with the hiring manager based at their office in Richmond - this went into more in detail about my experience and skillset as well as digging a little bit more into how I work, achievements I've made and whether I've faced any challenges in my career. There was also a small Excel task to complete. This section lasted for about an hour.
The third and final stage was again based at the office, but this time I was set a presentation challenge which I had a week to prepare for based on the job role. This was presented to the hiring manager and marketing director, after which they asked a series of questions to understand how I'd approached the challenge and to flesh out any areas that I hadn't gone into in as much detail. Next were two round of interviews - one with a senior colleague from a different department and another with the CMO. They were both warm & welcoming so it felt more like chatting to old friends than a job interview so it was really easy to let your personality shine through. All three rounds took about 3 hours.
