The interview process went smoothly. The questions were mainly general and focused on my resume, as well as my previous experiences. It was a good opportunity to discuss background in more detail

The interview was an online interview with the HR manager and a lab tech. It was very short with only the "tell us about yourself" question being asked followed by salary expectations and compatibility with the current location (when it comes to commute). Then they opened it up to ask any questions The job itself wasn't really appealing from a chemistry perspective. I was told it would be 50% admin work and 50% chemistry work, but I am not quite sure if the HR manager really understood. When I asked what kinds of instrumentation I could be using their response was analytical balance, which is not a very tempting answer. It was also difficult to get feedback after the interview because they for whatever reason kept dodging the question
