I applied online and spoke with human resources, several people on the communications team, and two potential cross functional partners. It was a lot of interviews, however, it provided many opportunities to learn about the department and company culture.

I had an employee refer me for the position. The recruiter's phone screen was great, and she seemed positive. The recruiter was very communicative, but they ended up choosing someone internal to fill the role.

The interview process was extensive and lengthy. In total, I completed seven interviews with colleagues across my line of business as well as one external partner. I wouldn't say the interviews were difficult, but the process was exhausting.
