I applied online and was sent an email inviting me to an interview the following weekend with the day/time and where the interview was being held. I applied for a new store that was opening so the interview was held at a T.K Maxx in the local area.
When I arrived I was shown to a room with other people who were there for an interview. We sat at tables in 4's and various managers gave presentations on customer service. We were then told that we had half an hour to fill out a set of scenario questions that were on the table in front of us. There were about 10 scenarios to complete and each had statements you had to tick for which you most agreed with and then a box underneath so you could explain why you chose this answer, this part was done in silence. There was a certain score you had to get on this to be able to be given an interview, they were marked straight after everyone completed the questions. If you passed this, the interview itself was a one to one and was very simple with general questions about past experience and skills.

Easy, they just want to see that your availability is good and you can follow instructions. Don’t talk about your degree or any corporate experience they reject people for being overqualified
