I applied for the Research Engineer role in the London office and the whole process took about 6–8 weeks. It started with an intro chat with an in-house recruiter who clearly explained the steps and timeline, followed by an interview with the team manager about my background and skills. After that I was given a take-home task (around 6 hours) focused on problem-solving, quickly setting up a testable pipeline, and showing extendability. The next stage was a discussion about my solution and how I could improve it, and the final interview with the Head of Research was about my approach to applied research, keeping up with the state of the art, and balancing innovation with practicality. Overall the process was clear and fair, everyone I spoke to was an expert in their field, and the questions were designed to genuinely assess fit for the role and the dynamics of the team. My experience was very positive.

I had an initial interview with HR, followed by an interview with two managers to get to know each other and assess whether I was a good fit for the company. After that, I completed a take-home assignment designed to show how I approach day-to-day work. Once I submitted it, I had another interview to discuss my solutions, along with some additional questions on the generative topic. Overall, it was a good experience. Each member of the team was transparent throughout the entire process and showed great respect for the candidate’s time.
