First it started with the phone call with the staffing company and a zoom interview with the client. Started as a temp, worked for few months and they offered full time position.

Applied online and did the HR and then HM interviews. Followed up with HM and then there was silence and the job is once again posted but without the 'reposted' tag. The convo with the HM was odd even during since it seems that my detailed resume was met with incredulity. So I spent time responded to all the questions and it soon became apparent that what I had written and was saying wasn't landing. I don't think it was a language barrier so I can only surmise it was probably an implicit bias manifesting itself. For this reason, I accommodated the interview going an extra 15 minutes, thinking well let me respond to more repetitive questions. But it was when I asked my final question about when to expect feedback that it all came apart. I had to reframe the question 3 times before I got a half answer and as mentioned, I was ghosted. In the first two instances, I had to be careful to not let loose another round of questions about the same areas we had already covered ad nauseum.
