The interview consisted of an HR screen, hiring manager discussion, and leadership panel. The HR screen was pretty standard and there was follow-up that day for a second round interview. It took several days for the HR team to get back to me for the second round interview date. That hiring manager discussion was informative and positive. The third round was scheduled quickly after that, and that was where things started to go south. I was told that another offer went out but that they would hire me instead and walk back that offer. The next day, the hiring manager sent an email indicating a formal offer would come the following week. The following week he sent an email walking back the offer. The hiring process towards the end was concerning.
