Initial conversations began with corporate recruiter and was then called in for in person interview. Good experience - everyone was very friendly and personable in the process. Interview was a combination of skill and personality match.

They asked me about the projects I had previously worked on
Very Simple, typical industry interview process for jobs that are paying more than 50, 000 a year. You have multiple interviews with the management teams, the process usually takes about 2 weeks depending scheduling and your availability.

Met hiring manager at professional organization, member meeting. He was very friendly and professional. He asked me to send him my resume. He then conducted a 45 min phone interview. After the phone interview with him ( the hiring manager), he then set up 5 interviews with his peers and his boss. These were face to face interviews that took place over 2 days. The building was secured and one might easily get lost on the different elevators if not given good directions. The environment was typical bank (at least to me). Fairly conservative, not overly friendly, in the heart of downtown with spectacular views. The managers I met with were fairly easy to talk to and I felt they were all genuine with me. I met with the hiring manager officially, face to face and he told me how everyone liked me and he wanted to hire me but he had to come up with a salary figure that would be fair to me and the other project managers he had on staff. He and his HR rep strung me along for over a month. In the meantime, I took another job.
I don't know that this is typical of their hiring practices, but I was very disappointed as I felt I did well in the interviews and was told that I did well but it obviously was not a good match. Considering the problems banks have been having as of late, it is probably best that I did not get the job.
