The initial interview is to make sure that you have the qualifications necessary to succeed in this industry. The shadowing process is used to make sure that this career is the right career for you and that this would be a good fit.

Yes, you will talk about your professional experience and how you think it will apply to this job but the interview is more of a character test and to see if you will fit in with the company.
