I didn’t even get to the interview stage. I have 13 years of customer service experience and have worked with the biggest FinTech start up and yet I’m not qualified for this?
I applied for the role and was sent a pair of assessments, one to determine what I was like as a person, and an abstract thinking test, which was just putting shapes in boxes.
Is putting shapes in boxes something you have to do as part of the customer service role at Wagestream?
You shouldn’t have to jump through pathetic hoops and be made to feel like a numpty to apply for a job in customer service. I could do this job with my eyes closed and yet because they didn’t like how I put shapes in boxes I’m not qualified. Your loss, Wagestream.

The interview process was refreshingly swift and efficient, moving at a great pace without unnecessary delays. It was a positive experience, thanks to the streamlined steps and the clear, focused approach.

I applied online and received an email for me to take an assessment. About two days after the assessment I received an email asking to set up an informal phone interview. During the interview, I was told about the company and asked about my experience. It was a pleasant phone call and it seemed pretty promising. I was then invited to a zoom interview with the same person from the initial call and two other people. I was asked a ton of questions about my experience and also fun questions about myself. At the end of the interview, I was asked what my availability was and told that I would be moving on to the next step which would be another interview. I didn't receive an email that day but the following business day I received a rejection email stating the main reason they didn't want to continue with the process was due to my lack of experience. I don't understand why I was told I would have another interview and then sent a rejection letter. Unless you are completely qualified for a position at this company do not apply. Regardless of the fact that in the job description it says " even if you don't fit all qualifications still apply."
