Met with two people in related fields and then the hiring manager. They forced me to interview for an additional stage while I was on holiday abroad. Hiring manager told me in that interview I was successful and the next day I got an offer. Upon negotiating for a like for like package given a sideways move, I got an email (note: not a phone call) saying they “couldn’t meet my expectations and were revoking my offer”. Told them I had resigned my role and asked for a conversation and was ignored. Despicable behaviour from them but a blessing in disguise as their reputation in the marketing department, I’ve since learned, is appalling
