I gave my resume to a recruiter at a college job fair, and I was contacted about a week later with an interview opportunity offer. The interviewer was very cold. They did not take the time to introduce them self, or allow me to introduce myself. There was no enthusiasm for the company itself or the fund accountant position. My resume clearly indicated that I was would be graduating in May, and I was interviewed for an immediate opening that should be filled before my graduation date. On the bright side, the interview questions were very general and straightforward. Also, they are constantly hiring fund accountants and should have more positions opening after my graduation date. The interviewer alluded to the fact that fund accountants were work mules and cycled through quickly. I was caught off guard when I was told that I would be put in contact with a manager in a month or so for a future interview and told to reapply after graduation (which seemed strange, because it should have been known that I had not graduated yet). The signals that I received were very mixed.
