I applied to a few positions and had a very difficult time communicating with one recruiter. They would call me at odd hours of the night even. They came off aggressive by not letting me get in a word, would constantly cut me off and eventually I got an offer but they wouldn't provide me details. How do you not provide details about what the offer entails to a potential employee?!?! The recruiter also demanded I give an answer right then and there without letting me think about it but later said I had one day to think about. I told the hiring manager about this and my concerns with the recruiter, but the manager didn't seem to care. They also low balled me with their initial salary offer by a lot. A lot of red flags popped up so I decided to decline. I also had another interview for another position with 3 people and overall the interview experience did not leave me wanting to work there. Everyone except 1 person interviewing me seem to be engaged. Didn't feel like they were prepared or really knew what to ask me. I asked about career development and was point blank told advancement was too difficult and not likely to happen. Overall, was left with a bad impression and won't apply there again.
