The interview process was quite long. I started interviewing in December and completed my final interview in March. I completed a phone screening with a recruiter, phone interview with the hiring manager, phone interview with the hiring manager's boss, another phone interview with the hiring manager, in person panel interview with 10 people, then I received an offer 1 week later.
All of the interview questions are behavioral interview style. For an example...Tell me about a time when you had to implement a new procedure or product and received resistance from your team. What happened and how did you overcome the obstacles?
I would recommend that you remain confident during your interview process and focus on your passion for helping people become successful and succession planning. I would also recommend you focus on being customer focused and have examples.
The Starbucks culture is laid back, people oriented, and all about being in the moment and ensuring that you and your entire team is successful. Cozy, yet warm culture.

You are presented with a case study and have to develop a full solution to the problem on the spot. An example is convince a department that you truly have a need to purchase additional equipment that cost $25k for your locations.
Interview was via phone. The recruiter was nice and very thorough. I followed up but never heard back. It's ok that I wasn't a fit for the role. It's unfortunate that their culture is to ghost prospective partners rather than letting them know they have been deselected.

Many of their questions are asking for a scenario when you did xyz and how it impacted the business or person you were working with. They are looking for very specific examples.

There was an online interview/assessments prior to being called for an onsite interview.
During the interview, they not only asked standard questions pertaining to multi-unit management but also asked questions about pairing different Starbucks drinks to their food options. They also had me sample several different menu items. I am not a big coffee drinker so this was a challenge for me.
