Entrevista
I applied in person for cashier or copy and print associate. I had been looking for a job for a while due to a bad market and was hoping for anything but would have preffered copy center because I have a tiny bit of print experience doing mostly large format post production and finishing work and find cashier jobs to be really boring. I was glad to find out that they were interested in me for that position. Got called for an interview about 2 weeks later, then invited back for a second interview with a different manager at the end of which I was offered a job. The second interview was more challenging than the first and lasted for about 45 minutes. The manager was pretty laid back though and made me feel comfortable when he saw I was a bit nervous. The questions were pretty straight forward, some I didn't really know how to answer because they seemed geared towards students with little job experience to find out how they handle conflict (for example, "what is a time where you have had conflict in your personal life?" And I don't tend to have much conflict in my personal life, but I was able to assure him that I had experience working in a busy retail environment at the customer service desk and that I had learned how to deal with difficult customers politely and professionally as well as multi task and handle stress- I worked at lowes during their busy season).
Anyway I've been there for a bit under a month now and I really enjoy it. The work is engaging and I'm always busy, I like my coworkers and managers, the hours are good, and I've gotten extremely positive feedback from my managers which I appreciate because I've felt that my hard work went very unnoticed at previous jobs (ie: lowes). My days fly by too and my hours are good so far despite being hired as part time (30-40 hours per week). Only complaint is the pay (was hoping for 13 or 14 based on previous experinece, only getting about 11.50 which is barely living wage and I need to buy groceries and pay bills (luckily my boyfriend works full time and gets paid twice as much and pays rent) plus saving up to get a degreee.

What's a time when you feel that you haven't given your best effort at work and how did you feel about it?
Basic questions asked not a whole lot to it pretty standard to any retail job. Can’t really remember everything they asked. Easy to pass job but hard job. Just act as if you have common sense.
I got a email right away and I go the job same day. Questions were simple and I was able to start the next week and was able to get paid the next week.
Easy normal interview process offered job on spot and did not have difficulty in questions. Mostly normal interview questions asked if I can add on more roles kinda hesitant cause they didn’t offer more pay toward it
