created a online profile on stantecs website. applied for a position. My resume went from toronto to regina. a person in regina called me, ask me 5 questions and when she noticed that my asking salary was low enough she send my resume to calgary. Finally someone from waterloo office called me in for an interview. That hole process took appr. 3 month. stantecs hr department is totally incompetent and having a streamlined application process is a foreign concept to them. What a waste.

interviewed by 2 characters and it became apparent that I had more experience then them.
they where only interested in talking and ask hardly any questions. one of them just observed and made only one statement telling me that I have to take orders from younger people. Telling him that I don't have problem with that as long it is reasonable would not convince him. needless to say I did not get the job. they are discriminating people by age.
Mature and experienced applicants don't waste your time with them.
