They made the communication super easy from start to finish. Michelle (HR personnel) was very pleasant when interviewing for the first round. I felt very lucky to come across such a lovely company with amazing people who, I can honestly say have a passion of making any process easy to understand and follow. The thought that goes into how everyone at Spidergap communicates, is simply outstanding. I really enjoyed getting to know Alexis and learn some valuable insights through his Youtube talks while preparing for an interview.
Initial application was very non-standard. I had to answer 2 questions and to do an Excel test.
Interview process started with a 30 mins culture-fit-interview having an opportunity to ask questions at the beginning and then being interviewed afterwards.
Second round was to test applicant's ability to spot errors using Excel spreadsheet and ability to fix them. I was asked to spot and correct the errors, apply error-proofing techniques, write an email to a Finance manager identifying the issues and how I fixed them.
The final interview meant to be meeting with Alexis, discussing career opportunities and digging deeper into Excel skills.
Although I didn't make it to the final stage of the interview, the feedback I received along the way was very helpful.
