I applied for the position and got a call back from a recruiter a day later where we went through my resume and scheduled an in person interview for two days later at the tech ops office in Hamilton, OH. I had very little questions for management because the recruiter had gone in depth with everything I needed to know. Upon looking through my resume we went over the fact that I had been employed with my current employer for over 3 years and he asked me to describe my past jobs which exceeded their expectations. I expressed that I manage my own home network and ran all the time warner hardware myself. I further went to explain that my previous jobs required me to work in harsh conditions, extreme warm and cold. I felt that all of this would be enough to prove my worth to these people. I was wrong. I got the typical "we will call you in a week or two, we have more interviews to fulfill". Within 24 hours, I received an email stating they found a better applicant. As discouraging as this is, my plan is to continue to apply until eventually someone sees my worth. It's sad that I went to school for computer networking and information systems security and a damn cable company that specializes in just that refuses to hire. Makes me wonder what type of applicant they are looking for....

The process was easy to apply and the interview process was easy as well as the staff being friendly. Dress business casual and have your resume with you and be ready to answer any questions they ask.
