I get into interview by an internal referral. Thus, I am not sure about the position yet. First interview was with rec. and was very general about my background and situation. Then I got a second interview with manager of a specific group. The rec. mentioned the interview will be "technical" and she mentioned: "be ready!". The second interview was technical, but it was about the previous projects and research I have worked on. The interviewer was great. He introduced his group and their work during first 5-10 minutes and that killed the entire stressful situation :) The interview length was about 40 minutes and I am still waiting for the outcome.
