-Cold call from manager with a bucketload of technical questions in restricted timeframe. Received no notice of call, so was stressful. Manager indicated I should have received a notice, but I think it was just a test to see how I performed under pressure.
-Follow-up interview with another manager, but they never called because they mistyped my phone number. Blamed it on me but I was able to reschedule.
-Rescheduled follow-up interview with same manager. They didn't call until 25min into the 30min timeslot, again complaining about my phone number (it was correct on my resume & linkedin & application, but they somehow didn't catch it the first time?) I was in the process of packing up and leaving due to their no-show, and because of that I was in my car for the interview.
Overall process was poor due to human error on SpaceX's side. I am sure it was a mistake on their part, but it surely impacted their view of me. Got a generic response afterwards.

I applied online, and a recruiter reached out a few months later to set up my first interview with a Team Lead. It went well so I moved onto the second interview with the Team Manager. Both interviews were extremely technical and they grilled you on your projects.
The interview started off with the interviewer asking a few behavioral questions, with the majority of the interview consisted of technical questions about engineering fundamentals and applying them to scenarios

Which pillar in a rigid structure bears the most weight?
Very simple questions, but very specific to the role. There were multiple rounds, and each round was different. Again, very specific to the role and i was rejected for one position, then my former interviews were used to determine my qualification for a different position.
