Eventually, out of three roles, it turned out that I've applied to team that was looking for a mid-to-senior candidate. The recruiter was kind enough to tell me that I'm overqualified in the call, so I wasn't surprised when I got the rejection. The recruiter call in its turn was cold and uninviting. They didn't have the camera on, didn't tell anything about the role or the process until I was done telling my story. I've made it clear that even though I might be overqualified for this particular team, I'd appreciate if I could be redirected to a different funnel, but I didn't hear back afterwards – only received a rejection email from a noreply address.

There was an initial call, followed by a take home test. About a week later, they came back with a positive result and throughout 2 half days (they usually do 1 full day) I had pair programming, a system design interview, an agile interview and a bar raiser interview.
