I was first required to take a test and was given 90 minutes to take it. It involved copyediting (which was the job I thought I was signing up for) and some other random things like categorizing fruit. I passed the test and was interviewed a few days later. I got an awkward vibe from the interview, and got the impression that the job would be very involved some weeks (40-even 80 hours) but there would be dead weeks as well. I did appreciate the fact that they compensate you a bit for dead weeks, however. I was told I got the job a few hours later and was invited to a training the next day. I decided to do some research before accepting and stumbled on review here. I know I should have done this prior to applying. The strange interview process combined with the fact that this job really seemed chaotic and undefined led me to say "no thanks." I got the impression that I would be working with a revolving door of freelancers from overseas and would be the person responsible for ensuring they follow guidelines time and time again.
