Only lasted 30 mins or so as I believe there would have been another stage. Was asked a bunch of standard questions which I was prepared for & fairly happy with my responses. I was turned down for what was, in my opinion, a strange & unfair reason. Not going to disclose exactly why as it will be obvious to the hiring manager, but it related to communication skills. I’m someone who takes feedback well, but this was just a bizarre experience and I’m glad I didn’t get the job. I’m at a great company now and have since been promoted. My communication skills are one of my strengths which I always get positive feedback on from my colleagues and manager. So clearly this just wasn’t a right fit for me, and I’d discourage anyone from applying who may be sensitive to personal feedback.
